So, you know I am all about savings. When I come across something I love...I just have to share it. Now onto my find. I am featuring a blog this week called
Homes & Babies. I loved her post on Decorating on a budget. She shows how you can take something old and make it new again. She also shows how she took an inherited chair...added a touch of paint and made it look new again. What does this creation become? A Budget savings idea.
Now she could have ran out to the store and bought a brand new chair but, she would have spent a lot more. Kind of like my site
Forever A Teen Fashion Finds, I talk a lot about, how it shouldn't cost a lot to look good ( I am referring to fashion) but, the same meaning comes into decorating. It shouldn't cost a lot to make a room look good/better. I am sure there are a ton of other things you could spend that extra money on you save. Maybe a vacation! We all need to be more cost savvy. Let's save some money and start budgeting. If you want to know more about
Homes & Babies Blog, check it out. You will love her blog. Read her post/blog. Take time to save money and add more money to your budget, to pay off bills. Every little bit counts.
Now here are a few of my budget savings ideas.

You can take something simple (like a glass vase) I purchased this from
Pier 1 Imports when it was on clearance. The flowers also were on clearance. I don't think I spent more than $20.00 and it gave me a nice corner piece for my living room. ( a touch of red) which I love! This is one of my favorite stores. I could spend hours looking in there. Very relaxing. (That's another idea) Save money and don't spend a time...just browse.
I love this look! I found this at Hobby Lobby.
It was 50% off & grapes were on sale. I only spent a couple of dollars on the red nick knack. It looks like a perfume bottle. I was going for the Italy look. I decorate based on places I want to go, I spent around $25.00 or less on this lot. I always shop for deals. Don't buy unless it's on sale or clearance. Remember, it will eventually be marked down. If it's gone when you go back to get it, my view is...it wasn't meant for me.

This little number also was on sale. The potpourri was on clearance. I spent around $10.00. Add a little potpourri and it makes the living room smell great. Another great way to save. Sales and Clearance are the way to go. Don't forget...places like
Hobby Lobby, offer coupons periodically in their flyer's. You also can sign up for their e mail for deals!
I hope you got some inspiration from this post to save money in your budget.
I love the saying...Spend Less, Save More!
Time to save money now!
I would like to thank
Homes & Babies for letting me feature her blog. Don't forget to check out her site. She offers great ideas you will love! She also just posted a dream home. Dreaming is OK. If you are going to dream, why not dream big! :D But, if you are looking for that big beautiful house, remember...stay within your budget!
Now my question to you...how have you saved money within your budget by decorating for less?
